Kweku Darlington has revealed he would take GH¢90,000 to perform at a political event.

Speaking in an interview on Class 91.3 FM’s Class Xtra with Nana Kwesi Bliss, the Sika Aba Fie hitmaker stated, "I could say, 'your excellency, since it's you who is asking for this service, give me only GH¢80,000 or GH¢90,000 to perform. I'll go perform and if another party calls, I'll do the same.”

However, he clarified that he would not create campaign songs for political parties, saying, "That would box me in and limit my career." He added, “If I ever reach a point where I’ve done everything I need to do in music, then I might charge huge amounts—40 billion, 50 billion—and do a campaign song. But I’m not there yet, and I don’t want to limit myself."

“For now, if you book me for a performance where I can sing my own songs, I’ll definitely show up,” he emphasized.
